Our Uni Weekend Trip is coming this April!

What’s Uni Weekend?

Uni Weekend is an epic weekend away for current university students, and for three days we will be having the absolute time of our lives!

We’re headed to the coast to make memories, build lifelong friendships, and discover what it means to have life to the fullest. Experience activities like hiking, arrow tag, mini golf, creative workshops and more – it’s going to be incredible and we’re here for it!!

Every night we have Club, with games, music, and a talk that challenges us to take a deeper look at what life is all about from a Christian perspective. Along with great food, adventure, and the opportunity to relax and explore, it’s a weekend you won’t want to miss.

Where is Uni Weekend?

Uni Long Weekend will be held by the waters edge, at Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort on the south coast of New South Wales, only an hour or so drive from Sydney.

Facilities at WSLR include an indoor pool, a movie room, beach volleyball, table tennis tables and the beach right at your doorstep!

Who looks after the students?

Students are predominately looked after by experienced Young Life leaders who will oversee various areas as cabin leaders, head cabin leaders, and work crew. The bulk of these individuals are trained Young Life volunteers who give up their time to make it a great experience for students – we’re so grateful to them!

How much does the trip cost?

The trip fee is $220 for university students and travel is an additional cost depending on the Young Life area from where you depart. The resort is about a 90 minute drive from Sydney and is close to the train/public transport.

Uni Weekend includes:

• Two nights accommodation
• All meals
• Guest speakers, program, music, and activities

Uni Weekend check-in is from 5:00pm onwards on Friday, April 14, 2023. We’ll have dinner together Friday to kick off the weekend! Check-out is the morning of Sunday, April 16, 2023.
