Our shared goal is simple: to know Jesus, to know young people, and to make the name of Jesus known around the world. This goal is realised by spending time with young people, listening without judgment, walking with them through their struggles, and showing them unconditional love. It’s about understanding their world — what shapes their culture, the trends they follow, and how their perspectives are evolving — so that we can create opportunities to introduce them to Jesus and support their spiritual growth.
We trust that God can accomplish far more with our little than we could ever imagine.
Young Life Australia has undergone significant change and transition in recent years, with the most recent financial challenges being among the hardest for our staff and leadership teams to navigate. Yet, through it all, God has provided—whether through your generous support, the help of our Global Young Life family, grants, or legacies. But the majority of our resources and donations come from you—our supporters, financial backers, prayer warriors, devoted leaders, volunteers, and dedicated staff members. We couldn’t do this without you.
There is a passionate team here at Young Life committed to continuing the mission of bringing hope to young people across Australia. We aim to show them that they are not only known and loved by caring adults, but also by a God who loves them in ways beyond imagination.
In the years ahead, we have bold aspirations:
- To know more young people by name.
- To walk alongside more of them as they navigate life and discover their purpose.
- To grow more leaders and inspire a volunteer movement.
- To establish more Young Life clubs in communities where young people need to hear the good news—because that need is everywhere!
- To develop more kingdom leaders who walk deeply with God.
- To create more adventures that push both young people and adults beyond their comfort zones.
- To engage in more conversations about faith and hope.
- To connect more authentically with young people, showing up and cheering them on as a supportive presence in their lives.

Our needs 2025 and beyond…
Young Life Australia has a vision to see more young people and communities transformed.
$50 can help our leaders connect with a young person in their world, whether that’s meeting at a sports game, provisions towards pancake breakfasts or other in school contact work.
$250 can help with equipment and resources to run vital weekly programs such as drop-in centres or clubs for young people.
$500 can help towards the development and training of our kingdom leaders.
$15k will sponsor an 18-25yo for a Gap Year experience with Young Life. A year to breathe, to grow in faith, to hone leadership skills and to serve others.
$50k can help propel Young Life staff leaders to pioneer and strengthen local areas and their programs to mentor young people.
Young Life Australia is a registered charity and all gifts $2 and over are tax-deductible. All gifts are directed to the area of most need if a target is met.
