Connecting with young people in their world continues to be our mantra, no matter the challenges before us. In a brief respite from COVID-19 and lockdowns, the second quarter of 2021 was certainly an ‘eventful’ one! With Young Life Barossa turning 10, the National Annual Dinner in Sydney and Dodgebow Camps at Young Life Redlands, there was much to celebrate. Read here
Looking back over the 2019-20 period, COVID-19 has had an undeniable impact but great things have been initiated and tried. Online clubs, talks and gatherings; development of our interns and the germination of a new Young Life area in Port Adelaide, South Australia.
It seems like a lifetime ago we were meeting in person at summer events in lieu of Young Life Australia’s national Summer Camp which was cancelled due to the bushfires.
